The 1st of March, marks the UNAIDS-led global observance of Zero Discrimination Day. The organization is urging people to speak up and prevent discrimination from standing in the way of achieving ambitions, goals and dreams. While discrimination has many forms, from racial or religious discrimination to discrimination based on health conditions, gender, sexual orientation, age, to bullying at school or at work, for this year’s Zero Discrimination Day UNAIDS is calling for zero discrimination in health-care settings.
“Everyone has the right to be treated with respect,
to live free from discrimination, coercion and abuse"

“Ghana needs to create an enabling environment and space that allows for in-depth discussions on stigma and discrimination against targeted groups, because
a nation’s greatness is measured
by how it treats its most vulnerable”
