CCM Members

As defined by Ghana CCM’s Constitution, the CCM’s membership consists of not more than 25 members drawn from three main sectors: Public Sector, Civil Society, and Multilateral & Bilateral agencies. For each substantive member, there is an alternate member who represents the constituency whenever the substantive member is absent. Representatives from the three sectors (= CCM members) are selected in accordance with the quota allocations in the graph below:

Each of the members represents a constituency, by which they are either appointed or elected (in the case of civil society). The term of office for all CCM members is three years, with the option of re-election by their constituencies.
